Mathieu Gonidec

Margaux is a PhD student co-supervised by Patrick Rosa (principal supervisor) and myself. Her work involves the preparation of new spin crossover compounds, their deposition as thin film on a variety of substrates, and the study of their SCO behavior on surfaces, as well as the consequences it has on the electronic properties of their tunnel junctions using temeprature dependent EGaIn setups.

Valentin joined us in February 2021 and is working on the synthesis of spin crossover compounds bearing suitable functional groups to prepare self-assembled monolayers, in order to be able to study their switching properties on surfaces
